Annie Award for Best Animated Feature

Early Man – Aardman Animations

Early Man is a British stop-motion animated historical sports comedy film. An asteroid collides with the prehistoric Earth, causing the extinction of planet’s dinosaurs, but sparing a tribe of cavemen living near the impact site. Finding a roughly spherical chunk of the asteroid that is too hot to touch, the cavemen begin to kick it around and invent the game of football.

Incredibles 2 – Pixar Animation Studios

The Incredibles 2 was distributed by Walt Disney Pictures and is the sequel to the superhero movie, The Incredibles (2004). The story follows the not so ordinary, Parr family.

Isle Of Dogs- Fox Searchlight Pictures / Indian Paintbrush / American Empirical Pictures

The Isle of  Dogs is a stop-motion animated film written and produced by Wes Anderson. The story is set in a dystopian society set in Japan. The heroes of the story revolve around a young boy and a group of dogs. All dogs are banished to an island following the outbreak of a canine-flu.

Ralph Breaks The Internet- Walt Disney Animation Studios

Ralph Breaks the Internet is a 3D computer-animated comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It is the sequel of Wreck-It-Ralph (2012). The story follows Wreck-it Ralph and Vanellope Von Schweetz as they face their own adventures and challenges in the internet.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a computer-animated film based on the Marvel Comics. Produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation it is set in alternate universes when Morales becomes one of the many Spider-Men.

An anthology film set in colonial Africa in the late 19th century telling the stories of five different characters: a troubled king, a middle-aged Pygmy working in a luxury hotel, a failed businessman on an expedition, a lost porter and a young army deserter.

MFKZ- Ankama / Studio 4ºC

Genre-mashup MFKZ is the collaboration of French comic artist Guillaume “Run” Renard and ultra-hip Japanese animation house Studio 4°C, creators of Tekkonkinkreet, Genius Party and Mind Game. The Tekkonkinkreet dream team of Shojiro Nishimi and art director Shinji Kimura reunite to bring to life a dark but stunningly animated sci-fi vision that mixes anime, film noir, and Lucha Libre in an orgy of video game-inspired mayhem.
